I don't know. Seeing how ingrained in society it is on the planet makes me question my assumption that people would not take it well.

I think a large part of why it was hidden in the first place was certain groups in society not wanting to share power.

In my experience, people hate being lied to, primarily. Whatever the lie was about tends to be secondary.

Unless it's really bad.

Hah. Yeah. I can relate to that being a human trait no matter how enlightened society becomes. Possibly just a flat out 'living being' trait, for how often the mentality crops up throughout the galaxy.

No, not the most. Maybe it wasn't the worst, either. We know that, which is the important part.

He's a bright young man. Scientifically-minded. Easily distracted. Prone to blowing things up, too, I'm afraid.
